Sharon A. Foley

I am a licensed clinical social worker and have been in practice as a psychotherapist for twenty-six years. I am interested in your reason for seeking treatment now, what you are experiencing and the events both past and present that prompted you to seek help.

Clients contact me with a wide variety of issues such as depression; anxiety; trauma; loss of a loved one; relational difficulties with a spouse, child, or aging parent; and conflict and stress in the workplace. Together we craft a treatment plan and relationship that matches your need.

I am skilled in a variety of treatment methods that include insight-oriented approaches as well as cognitive-behavioral therapy. I also introduce clients to relaxation strategies, meditation, and mindfulness.

My private practice is primarily with adults whom I see in either individual or couples’ psychotherapy.
I have limited availability to work with children and adolescents.
